Learning how to listen to your body goes beyond adhering to ideas about what you should do or how you should behave in order to get to what’s true for you. It’s the best compass we have, especially with all of the noise coming from so many different sources of media.
Everything in the natural world knows how to be itself. We are part of nature and inside each of us is a wild self that knows deeply what it is meant to do.
“Mind over matter” isn’t nearly as effective as creating congruence between body, mind, and spirit. The pain isn’t the problem. The problem is simply an inappropriate relationship with pain.
